Water 4 Mercy is a 501(c)3 charity founded by Nermine in 2018 after she and her daughter Samantha (class of 2015) visited Tanzania and witnessed the heartbreak of women traveling as many as 10 hours daily to fetch water, often contaminated water. Nermine's sheer drive and love of God and all people have resulted in freshwater now being brought to over 67,000 Africans in eighteen communities in Tanzania and Kenya.

Water 4 Mercy is a 501(c)3 charity founded by Nermine in 2018 after she visited Tanzania and witnessed the heartbreak of women traveling as many as ten hours a day to fetch often contaminated water. Nermine's sheer drive and her love of God and all people has resulted in freshwater now having been brought to over 67,000 Africans in eighteen communities in Tanzania and Kenya.
This book portrays the life-altering impact of accessible water through the lens of a Tanzanian girl and her grandmother. The book demonstrates the power of not being dependent on a water hole and shows the opportunities that are opened for every member of the family when most of the day is not spent trying to find water. The story is written side with by side Abdulahi Bonaya Boru's artwork, about a young man who is trying to establish an art studio and school in Kenya. The funds generated from this book can help empower him to achieve his dream. I highly recommended for readers of all ages who are seeking stories that inspire positive change and community development.” - Caleb Pym
I read this to a group of kid, and they were on the edge of their seats. A great way to inspire kids to persevere in the midst of setbacks and hardships to pursue their dreams” - Book Reader Review on Barnes and Noble
