Water 4 Mercy to Shine During Divine Mercy Weekend in Stockbridge, MA
A Weekend of Faith, Service, and Global Impact
Stockbridge, MA – April 2025 – Water 4 Mercy (W4M) is set to receive remarkable recognition during the highly anticipated Divine Mercy Weekend on April 26 & 27, 2025, at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA. This event, hosted by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, will bring together thousands of faithful from around the world, providing an incredible platform for W4M to showcase its life-changing mission.

Water 4 Mercy's Founder to Address Thousands
The founder of Water 4 Mercy, Nermine Khouzam Rubin, will take center stage during this inspiring weekend. She will deliver two compelling presentations that highlight the organization’s commitment to sustainable water and agricultural solutions in Africa:
Saturday, April 26 – Nermine will speak to an intimate gathering of 300 attendees, sharing the profound impact of W4M’s initiatives in communities struggling with water scarcity.
Sunday, April 27 – She will address an awe-inspiring audience of 15,000 people at approximately 10:00 AM, emphasizing the transformative power of clean water, agriculture, and education in breaking cycles of poverty.

Water 4 Mercy to be Featured in a Live EWTN Broadcast
In an exciting addition to the weekend’s events, Nermine will be interviewed LIVE on EWTN, the world’s largest religious media network. She will be joined by Fr. Mark Baron, MIC, with the discussion led by Rector General Fr. Joe Roesch, MIC, and Fr. Chris Alar, MIC. This exclusive interview will air before the official Divine Mercy Sunday Mass at 1:00 PM, offering viewers worldwide an inside look at W4M’s groundbreaking work.
A key highlight of the conversation will be the life-changing experiences of Clearwater Central Catholic High School (CCCHS) students, who traveled to Tanzania last summer with Fr. Mark Baron and Water 4 Mercy. These students witnessed firsthand the power of sustainable solutions in transforming lives. Their inspiring journey aligns perfectly with W4M’s mission to create lasting change through water, agriculture, and education.
Also attending the event is Camille Galaura, the CCCHS Student Board Liaison, who participated in the Tanzania service trip. Camille will be at the W4M booth, engaging with visitors and sharing personal insights on the organization’s impactful initiatives.

What fantastic work and very meaningful, care and respect for those who need help. They are human and most of the rich world don’t want to know about these essential issues, like clean water in part of Africa.
Many people in wealthier countries don’t directly experience extreme water scarcity, so the issue can feel far away or abstract.
Sometimes, political and economic systems prioritize profits or short-term interests over humanitarian needs?
