Can You Imagine? A Life Without Clean Water

Updated: Oct 3

Dear Water 4 Mercy Supporters,

It's heartbreaking to share this, but it's a reality we cannot ignore. Does anybody care that in present day 2024, millions of people in Africa are forced to scrape feces off the top of water just to have something to drink? This is not human dignity; this is a crisis that demands our urgent attention. It is our duty to CARE!

At Water 4 Mercy, we believe that clean water is a basic human right and a crucial first step. Our team is working tirelessly to eradicate thirst and hunger throughout Africa, to empower communities, foster dignity, and create sustainable change.

Malichela Village: Before and After Water 4 Mercy

Imagine a village where every drop of water was once collected from a contaminated source, leading to daily struggles with illness and keeping children out of school. This is the reality that Malichela Village faced. Thanks to our generous supporters, the implemented water system is now providing the 1,640 community members daily access to clean water.

Health and well-being have drastically improved, and waterborne diseases like dysentery and typhoid have been significantly eradicated. Women are now safer and able to spend more time caring for their families, while children no longer need to spend hours searching for clean water, allowing them to attend school regularly.

Your support can help us bring clean, safe water to those who need it most. Together, we can put an end to this inhumane situation and restore dignity to those who are suffering.

Don't let another day go by without taking action. Care enough and join us in this mission to ensure that no more have to die of thirst or hunger ever again.
